İzmir Taxi

DHMİ places İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport about 18 km from the city centre. Domestic and international arrivals use separate terminal areas. Tell the business which terminal, where in İzmir you are going and how to contact you on arrival; then confirm the meeting point.

İzmir spans both sides of the bay. Gaziemir, Konak, Alsancak and Karşıyaka are not interchangeable pickup points. Include the district, street and a recognisable entrance when enquiring. For airport departures, share your flight time so a pickup can be discussed around your actual journey.

İzmir extends around the bay, so Gaziemir, Konak, Alsancak and Karşıyaka cannot be treated as one central pickup point. Start your enquiry with the district and street, then add a building or hotel entrance. The public business address is in Gaziemir, but that is not automatically where your own trip begins. If the destination is on a different side of the bay, make that clear rather than using only the city name. A complete origin and destination help the business discuss the appropriate route and fare.

For a ride to the airport, tell the business your flight departure time and the exact address where you will be waiting. A pickup in Gaziemir and one in Karşıyaka are different journeys, even if both end at the same terminal. Discuss the collection time for the route you need and check your airline's airport arrival guidance. If your ticket changes from a domestic to an international departure, or your accommodation moves, update the details and request a new confirmation in the same WhatsApp conversation.
